Message from National Chairman Frank Fluckiger:
According to a poll published today by the respected Gallup organization,“A majority of U.S. adults, 58 percent, say a third U.S. political party is needed because the Republican and Democratic parties ‘do such a poor job’ representing the American people.”
On the left, political activist Ralph Nader observes, “All voters have the right to a choice of qualifying candidates on the ballot. Those who throw the charge of ‘spoilers’ need to be reminded that running for public office is the consummate use of the First Amendment — namely, to exercise the right to freedom of speech, petition and assembly.”
On the right, Steve Baldwin, a former GOP California State Assemblyman, asserts, “We don’t want the GOP to pursue a ‘socialism-lite’ agenda. We want them to go on the warpath and do whatever it takes to stop the destruction of our constitutional Republic … I have given up on the GOP and am simply not sure it can ever be reformed.”
As I point out in the current newsletter, “In a national poll last month, 33 percent of voters think the current president is the worst since 1945.”
The numbers are right in front of us — we must build our party, from the grassroots, to fulfill our potential. I hope you will help by distributing the September newsletter via e-mail, posting it on Facebook, and even printing copies to distribute at gun shows, Tea Party rallies, etc.
