We recently had our fall National Committee meeting in Sparks, Nevada. The subtle but dominant message that we heard from every speaker was about the accelerated decline in America over the last decade. But every speaker focused, not on the discouraging decline, but on the growing awareness in America and on the victories won.

In a recent Gallup poll, nearly two-thirds of Americans opined that the Democratic and Republican parties are doing such a poor job that another major political party is needed. This is a growing realization in the U.S. over the last several decades but the lack of follow through shows an alarming cowardice on the part of the voter. Many are afraid to commit to making another party a major party. Many have bought into the sales pitch of the DEMGOP party that a vote for a third party is “a wasted vote” and “will cause the “other” party to win” and therefore you have to vote for their team.

But we also see a growing unrest and a recognition that the Democratic and Republican parties no longer represent the American people, nor do they fight to protect our individual rights. We see more and more politicians, who are fighting for the American people, being attacked by their own political party. We see major political players being labeled as the problem because they have dared to push back against the abuses their own political party is foisting on the American people.

As the two major parties leave their voters behind and use and abuse them at every turn, we hope see a shift away from the two old dying parties and a return of the American spirit. But what will it take to cause this shift? It may simply take an overwhelming pain from the abuse to cause people to shift, but this isn’t the likely scenario. Look how far we the people have allowed things to go already.

No, most likely, it will take the courage of a few individuals to stand in the face of the status quo. It will take the courage of a few more individuals to support them and fight for them. And after these individuals break the inertia that has held us captive, the impetus will gain speed and the two old dying parties will be discarded.

But who are these courageous few who will lead this charge? We at the Constitution Party are reaching out to the public servants who have shown the integrity to stand for the rights of individual American against all odds. You can add you voice in encouraging these individuals to join a party that would support them. We are also training new volunteers in how to build and lead their State, County, and local Constitution Parties. And, we are looking for serious donors who can support major candidates to win larger races.

So what can I do? Every individual must find the courage to stand up for individual rights right where they live. We must find the courage to express our support of individual rights and oppose government abuse of those rights at our municipal and school board meeting. We must make ourselves known so that other like-minded individuals can see us and join in our efforts. We may even need to run for local offices in governments that need to return to their limited role.

We need Americans, unwilling to give up the individual rights of the people, who will stand up and be counted.

Off Year Elections and Party Building

“Off” year elections provide opportunities for the Constitution Party to gain local offices and to focus on building County Committees. Local races are often easier to win, and in some cases, no one else is even running for those offices.

This is the season for building the local Constitution Party. States have the opportunity to build momentum in localized areas that will later impact larger races. In one Pennsylvania School District, the Constitution Party of Pennsylvania has taken first one seat then two, and this year three more candidates are running. The impact of having Constitution Party members on the School Board has already been felt in the shift in focus away from Progressive indoctrination and back towards quality education; but if these three candidates win, the School Board will have a Constitution Party majority and will be able repel all Progressive agendas and show the community what the fundamental principles of the CP can do for them.

States also have the ability to let more people know that we are an option without breaking the bank on advertising. Local races provide more person-to-person contacts and candidates can meet every voter in their district. Local CP organizations can also work on voter registration drives and educational classes and host less formal fundraisers.

But, even in States that have no 2025 elections, “off” years do not mean the CP is sitting around not doing anything. Local CP organizations are hard at work scouting for candidates for the 2026 election cycle and are identifying and training new county and local leaders to expand our effectiveness. Some States are hard at work gathering signatures to gain ballot access for future races, giving CP members better representation at all levels.

Supporters, Voters, Leaders, & Patriots have many opportunities right now to make major differences right where they are at! Will you join the fight?

2026 is off and running. And while many people are making New Year’s resolutions about exercise and dieting, career advancement, and personal bucket lists. We are asking you to make a New Year’s resolution about advancing Liberty.

The Founding Fathers committed their Lives, their Fortunes, and their Sacred Honor to achieving Liberty for themselves and their posterity.

Their service to achieving Liberty took on many different forms. Most of them served in government at all different levels from local to State to National. Some of them worked tirelessly to raise money for the cause and to gather supplies. Some of them worked at organizing the new governments and parts and pieces doing the work.

We are asking each of our supporters to commit to a new level of support for Liberty.

If you have not been attending your local government and school board meetings, please consider a resolution to attend. If you have not been in contact with your public functionaries in office, please consider writing each of them. If you have never donated to the Constitution Party, please consider a donation. If you have donated, but not on a regular basis, please consider a reoccurring monthly donation. If you have served in a public office, please consider running for an office that you have the time and the skills to handle.

It is estimated that it only took 3% of the population in the English colonies in America to drive and win the American Revolutionary War and our independence. A few committed individuals can change our world.

We need people willing to write and contact their public officials regularly. Keeping our public functionaries encouraged, corrected, and educated can make all the difference locally.
