Americans Give Thanks US Not Limited To Two Parties

More Polls Show Voters Weary Of DC Control Freaks As Party Loyalty Tanks

Lancaster, PA: A record number of Americans say most members of Congress do not deserve to be re-elected, according to the latest CNN/Opinion Research Corp poll. The survey shows voter disdain for those in power in both controlling parties has grown more widespread than ever before.

America’s fastest-growing and largest third party based on voter registration, (Ballot Access News), the Constitution Party, cites this poll along with the recent Princeton Research Associates/ Newsweek survey this week showing 54% of respondents say the U.S. should have another major party from which to choose their elected officials.

“For months we’ve seen average Americans weighing in on this issue and it’s plain - the ‘throw the bums out’ sentiment is spreading”, said Constitution Party National Committee Chairman Jim Clymer.

Clymer referenced other recent surveys like Zogby and Rasmussen which show growing discontent with both parties in power.

“You don’t have to be a political analyst to understand what’s happening. The prevailing ill-will is going to drop politics on its head. Frankly, it won’t be at all surprising to see Americans turn their backs on DC insiders when they choose their next president and members of congress”, Clymer predicted.

According to CNN’s polling director, Keating Holland, “The public seems to be concentrating its wrath on the GOP”. CNN’s survey showed just 38 percent say that Republican members of Congress should be re-elected. Fifty percent say that Democrats in Congress deserve to be re-elected.

“The Constitution Party’s been welcoming an influx of voters who had been fiercely loyal to the GOP. Democrats as well cannot stomach the betrayal anymore. On issues like illegal immigration, presidential power-grabs, endless unconstitutional wars and loss of American jobs, it’s safe to say we’re witnessing major defections from both of the establishment parties”, Clymer noted.
